Partial Response DFE Guided Ultra-Low Complexity FTN Signaling for High Spectral Efficiency Intra-DCI

A PR-DFE-based FTN signaling scheme is proposed for low-complexity and high-performance intra-DCI, achieving up to 2.4 dB sensitivity improvement and significantly reducing error propagation versus DFE in a 56Gbaud PAM4 system with a compressed factor of 0.8.
