Realization of Exceptional Points in a Silicon Strip Waveguide

We present a passive silicon strip waveguide featuring exceptional points (EPs) enabled by asymmetric second-order grating. By engineering the duty cycle, we achieve EPs with flat radiation and a symmetric spectral response.
