Localized Light Transport in a Self-Similar Waveguide Array

We demonstrate localized light propagation in a 64-core coupled silicon waveguide array. A self-similar modulation of propagation constants significantly reduced inter-core crosstalk, offering the potential to enhance the integration density of photonic circuits.
