Interband Stimulated Raman Scattering Avoidance from O to C+L-Bands in Transmission Over Installed Fibre
We demonstrate the addition of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$O$</tex>-band signals onto an installed fibre link with an existing <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$C+L$</tex>-band transmission. The aggregate bandwidth increased to 23.8 THz and the impact of ISRS upon existing signals was <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$<0.05 ~\text{dB}$</tex>.
