Key Technologies for 200G Optical Access Networks
We present an initial evaluation of the two main technologies for <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$200 G$</tex> optical access networks: IMDD and coherent. We consider the emerging requirements from operators and review how both options meet them.
