Genetic Algorithm-Based Optimization for High-Precision Beam Steering in Optical Phased Arrays
This study optimizes an optical phased array using a genetic algorithm. Simulations of dualgate antennas achieve phase variation from 0 to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$2 \pi$</tex> and analyze far-field intensity. We achieved 79% deflection efficiency, representing a 24% improvement.
