Structural Optimization of a Cascade Mach-Zehnder Interferometer DEMUX Using Factorization Machines with Simulated Annealing
We implemented Factorization Machines with Simulated Annealing to optimize the demultiplexer structure for large-scale photonic integrated circuits. The optimization was completed in 23 hours, whereas it would take more than 1016 years using global search.
