Field Emission Enhancement in MXene Cold Cathodes Through Porous Structural Design
This study explores the improvement of field emission properties in MXene (Ti<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf>C<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>)-based cold cathodes by transitioning from a layered to a porous structure. Experimental results show that the porous MXene sheets exhibit enhanced field emission performance compared to the layered structure, confirming their potential for application in next-generation TWT devices.
