Numerical Approach to the Optimization of the Bandwidth Tunability of a Non-Cascaded Multifunctional Optical Filter
We report a numerical approach to optimize the Non-cascaded Multifunctional Optical Filter (Cross and Direct-coupled All-Pass Filters in MZI arms) with tunable bandwidth (0 to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\pi$</tex> radians), constant Free Spectral Range (FSR) and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\leq 1 \%$</tex> ripple.
