Evaluation of Temperature Characteristics of IoT Gateway Driven by Power-Over-Fiber for Outdoor Installation

We investigate the temperature characteristics of an IoT gateway for Power-over-Fiberbased, wide-temperature-stable operation. Setting intermittent operation conditions under high temperatures reduces instability from temperature-dependent power consumption. Additionally, the power-saving algorithm suppresses the transmitter's temperature increase.

Abstract

We investigate the temperature characteristics of an IoT gateway for Power-over-Fiberbased, wide-temperature-stable operation. Setting intermittent operation conditions under high temperatures reduces instability from temperature-dependent power consumption. Additionally, the power-saving algorithm suppresses the transmitter's temperature increase.
