An Approximate Solution of “instein Würfelt Nicht!”

Einstein Würfelt Nicht! (abbr. EWN) is a relatively recent board game that holds considerable significance in the field of computer games. It has been included in the official game collection of the ICGA Computer Olympiad for several years. Numerous computer programs have been developed to play this game, and solving it remains a prominent objective for researchers. In this research, we developed a lossy compression method to construct a database for EWN that closely approximates the exact win rate while requiring about 1,821 times smaller space. Using this solution, we created a near-perfect computer program that is practically close to exactly solving EWN. It consistently secures first place in multiple computer tournaments, including TCGA and ICGA.
