Wireless D-Band Transmission of 80-Gb/s 16-QAM Signal Generated by Using Feedforward Compensation of Free-Running Lasers' Phase and Wavelength Fluctuations

We demonstrate 80-Gb/s 16-QAM wireless transmission at 131 GHz by heterodyning two free-running lasers. Phase and frequency fluctuations of heterodyned laser signals are compensated by using a hybrid coupler and an optical modulator.
