All-Optical, Broadband-Tunable Terahertz-Wave Generation with Frequency-Independent 100-Hz Linewidth and Low Phase Noise
This research proposes a novel all-optical photonic approach for tunable terahertz-wave generation from 100 to 320 GHz, achieving a 3-dB linewidth below 160 Hz and phase noise below <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$-95 \text{dBc} / \text{Hz}$</tex> at a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$100-\text{kHz}$</tex> offset.
