Optical Parametric Frequency Comb Regeneration for Phase-Coherent Signal Processing in a 176 km MCF Link
We exploit the phase coherence of comb carriers for shared DSP across both wavelength and spatial domains. After <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$176 \text{km}, 6$</tex> reference channels enable carrier phase recovery of 3 (cores) <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\times 152 \times 24.5$</tex>-GBaud PM-64QAM C-band channels, achieving <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$>28-\text{Tb} / \mathrm{s} /$</tex> core.
