300 Ghz Wave Frequency-Division Multiplexing by a Single Chip Integrated with Arrayed Photomixer/Patch-Antenna

We developed a special chip integrated with arrayed photomixers/antennas. By two-points feeding, our chip can multiplex two frequencies. In this research, we experimentally demonstrated 300-GHz band frequency-division multiplexing and achieved bit error rate of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$3.75 \times 10^{\wedge}-3$</tex>.

Abstract

We developed a special chip integrated with arrayed photomixers/antennas. By two-points feeding, our chip can multiplex two frequencies. In this research, we experimentally demonstrated 300-GHz band frequency-division multiplexing and achieved bit error rate of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$3.75 \times 10^{\wedge}-3$</tex>.
