Electro-Thermal-Driven Graphene Resonant Sensor for Highly Sensitive Virus Detection
This study reports the first use of an electro-thermal-driven graphene resonant sensor functionalized with aptamer for SARS-CoV-2 whole virus detection, suggesting a compact, low-power platform for selective virus sensing. In particular, we suggested a fabrication process of graphene transfer using HMDS treatment and bilayer graphene, achieving a yield of suspended graphene of over 90%. Then, we performed a detection of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 through resonance measurement and molecular functionalization, yielding a mass sensitivity of 25.1 zg/Hz.
