An Adaptive Scheduling Mechanism for Optical Switching Networks
An adaptive scheduling mechanism was proposed and experimentally validated on a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$100 ~\text{Gb} / \mathrm{s}$</tex> optical switching network. The packet loss rate remained below <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$6.65 \times 10^{-8}$</tex> at the physical layer with an average latency of 694.203 nanoseconds.
