Survey of Antennas for Artillery Shell Telemetry

Modernization of shells and testing equipments demand antennas to be mounted on board without affecting the projectile's aerodynamic behavior and resisting the projectile's firing environment. This paper surveys some potential antennas with this objective. The paper reports various antennas that have been used for similar purposes. Then it discusses which ones will be more suitable and can be tailored for the current case.
