An Optical Localization System Based on Encoding Angle of Departure

This paper proposes a LiFi-based localization system that embeds Angle-of-Departure (AOD) into the outgoing beam. We analyze search time performance and validate the approach through performance evaluation and a proof-ofconcept demonstration.
