Range Automation System – An Ensemble Enhanced Transfer Learning-Based Approach for Monitoring Movement(s) in Range
Range Automation is a crucial task of advancing a more than centenary old establishment of immense importance in defence research. Range provides test facilities for guns, mortars and other artillery and ammunition testing for army and navy. In light of its responsibilities, lots of movement occurs in the range on daily basis. Range Automation System includes but not limited to Vehicle movement tracking in range premises for easy surveillance and keeping security checks updated. This proposed system will use ensemble enhanced transfer learning approach for detecting and recognizing number plate along with timestamping login and logout details of the vehicle. It can also track the locations of the vehicle within the range premises making security robust and can help analyse root cause of mishap or security breach. Proposed approach can use existing infrastructure of the range along with the advanced ones. It had achieved 96% precision, 94% recall and 97% [email protected].
