Study of Relation of Resistance-Temperature of Tungsten Helix for Thermal Evaluation of High Power Helix Structures

To evaluate the thermal performance of high-power helix structures, the relationship between resistance and temperature of a tungsten helix was studied. A tester was set up and provided with inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation of helix wire surfaces. The temperature coefficient of resistance of tungsten helix and the resistivity of tungsten tape were obtained.

Abstract

To evaluate the thermal performance of high-power helix structures, the relationship between resistance and temperature of a tungsten helix was studied. A tester was set up and provided with inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation of helix wire surfaces. The temperature coefficient of resistance of tungsten helix and the resistivity of tungsten tape were obtained.
