Maxwell-Vlasov Resolution with Finite Elements on Tetrahedral Meshes

This work presents the simulation tool dedicated to time simulation of vacuum electronic tubes within Thales - AVS. This new tool resolve Maxwell-Vlasov equations with finite elements over tetrahedral mesh. The charge and current are evaluated using Particle-In-Cell method ensuring charge conservation.

Abstract

This work presents the simulation tool dedicated to time simulation of vacuum electronic tubes within Thales - AVS. This new tool resolve Maxwell-Vlasov equations with finite elements over tetrahedral mesh. The charge and current are evaluated using Particle-In-Cell method ensuring charge conservation.
