Off-Quadrature Bias Operation for Phase-Error Correction in an Optical-Analog-Optical Wavelength Converter
Optical-Analog-Optical wavelength converters enable low-latency conversion of a signal from one wavelength to another. We demonstrate <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$>2 \text{dB}$</tex> improvement in the SNR of wavelength conversion at 1564.13 nm by compensating receiver phase-error with off-quadrature biasing.
