Self-Healing and Stretchable Graphite-Polymer Composites for Motion Sensing and Imperceptible Pulse Measurement
We present a self-healing and stretchable graphite-polyborosiloxane matrix (Gr-PBSM) sensor for real-time monitoring of human physical activities and imperceptible pulse detection. The Gr-PBSM sensor achieves a maximum strain at break exceeding 1264%, with mechanical healing efficiencies of 107% and 99.7% under ambient and frozen conditions, respectively, within just 10 minutes. This polymer sensor effectively recognizes various motions and, for the first time, can detect subtle pulse activities from the neck, wrist, and ankle.
