Generation of Single-Mode Squeezed Vacuum Using a Silicon Optical Waveguide
We generate single-mode squeezed vacuum from a silicon optical waveguide with a collinear dual-wavelength pump pulse source. The squeezed vacuum exhibits a self-intensity correlation function as large as <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$1.3 \times 10^{3}$</tex> demonstrating non-classical photon statistics.
