2.4GHz CMOS Class AB Low Power Amplifier with High Power Gain

In this paper, a low voltage CMOS class AB low Power Amplifier with High Power Gain is presented for wireless mobile Applications, such as Bluetooth, and biomedical applications. This comprises a single-stage PA design and a Two-stage PA design with a 2.4 GHz operating frequency and a low supply voltage of 1 V. These are designed using GPDK 45 nm technology. Under 1V, Single-stage and Two-stage PAs can deliver 12 dBm Output Power, and maximum power consumption is low, i.e., a single-stage $\mathbf{P A}$ is 77.3 mW, and a twostage PA is 129.4 mW. The power Gain of Single-stage PA is 80 $\mathbf{d B}$, and Two-stage $\mathbf{P A}$ is $\mathbf{8 5} \mathbf{~ d B}$ Both the single-stage and twostage power amplifiers have power-added efficiency of $28 \%$ and 13%, respectively. Single-Stage Power Amplifier is more linear than Two-stage Power Amplifier. Both PAs are Stable.
