Cyber Physical System Based Wearable Health Monitoring Device For Defense Applications
The proposed paper presents a comprehensive Cyber-Physical System (CPS) for soldier health monitoring in harsh military environments. The system features a wearable glove-based device equipped with various sensors to continuously track vital health parameters. The sensor data is transmitted through a short-range ZigBee mesh network to a centralized gateway, which processes the information, detects anomalies, and forecasts potential health issues. To enable longdistance communication, the gateway is integrated with NB-IoT technology, allowing the transfer of critical health data to the base camp, even in remote and challenging terrains. By leveraging the power of CPS, the health monitoring solution is designed to be self-adjusting and self-learning, enhancing the safety and mission success of military personnel operating in stressful conditions.
