RenoBridge: A User-Centric Platform for Streamlining Contractor-Homeowner Collaboration
Nowadays, Malaysia’s need to own a home is increasing steadily due to the rising population and urbanization [1]. After owning a property, homeowners tend to put more effort into the refurbishment as they are willing to spend money in exchange for a convenient and nice-looking home. However, the lack of a comprehensive platform for them to handle the tedious steps from the beginning till the end often causes them to suffer throughout the renovation process, eventually leading to unsatisfactory outcomes. Thus, a new innovative, comprehensive platform called RenoBridge will be proposed in this project, covering the functionalities for homeowners to locate reliable contractors, compare the proposals sent by contractors, and track the progress and expenses spent throughout the renovation process.
