High-Efficiency Thermo-Optic Switch Based on Waveguide Superlattices with Artificial Gauge Field
We experimentally demonstrate an ultra-efficient silicon thermo-optic switch based on waveguide superlattices with artificial gauge field. This design achieves the lowest power consumption of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$1.23 \text{mW}/ \pi$</tex> without extra thermal isolation.
