Abstract

Nano-pixel waveguide using photonic-crystal quasi-side-wall is proposed for the first time. The simulated results show similar splitting performance with regular one with low excess loss of 0.4 <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$d B$</tex>.
