3D-Printed Triaxial Electrospray Microfluidics for Uniform, Core-Shell-Shell Microparticle Generation
This paper reports the first additively manufactured microfluidics that produce uniform core-shell-shell particles via electrohydrodynamic jetting. The devices are made via vat photopolymerization and feature three microchannels that supply liquids to a compound nozzle arranged concentrically to generate three-layered droplets. The compound particles can be used to deliver drugs, create self-healing materials, and reinforce composites.
