Dynamic Multi-Band and Multi-Fiber Packet-Optical Networks with Wavelength and Waveband Switching
This paper presents a packet-optical network architecture that incorporates waveband switching alongside traditional wavelength switching. The performance evaluation highlights the trade-offs between blocking probability, the number and size of wavebands, and the number of fibers.
