Cancellation of Linear and Nonlinear Fiber Fading Effects by Opto-Electronic Phase-Conjugation Processing in High RF-Link Gain OFDM RoF Transmission
We propose opto-electronic phase-conjugation processing for cancelling fiber fading effects observed in radio-over-fiber transmission in both linear and nonlinear regions. We experimentally demonstrate fading-free and SBS-suppressed 128 -ch <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\times 75-\text{Mb} / \mathrm{s}$</tex> dual-sideband OFDM transmission over 25-km SMF.
