Mode-Dependent 3-dB Power Splitters Using Silicon Slotted Multimode Interference Couplers for Efficient Mode-Selective Switches

We propose novel mode-dependent 3-dB power splitters based on dual-slotted multimode interference couplers. These devices are designed by using subwavelength grating structures, and our proposals are numerically validated.
