Parallel Laser Doppler Velocimeter Based on Electro-Optical Modulated Frequency Comb
Laser doppler velocimetry (LDV) is capable of detecting very slow movements due to its extremely high sensitivity. A rapid multi-point parallel LDV based on an electro-optic frequency comb (E-OFC) has been demonstrated. which features a simple structure. A diffraction grating is used to disperse the different comb teeth onto distinct positions on the target. The rotational speeds at different positions on a rotating disk can be simultaneously obtained in a single measurement.
