Bubble Detection of Optical Fiber Preforms Using Liquid Immersion Double-Sided Telecentric Microscope

A detection method for optical fiber preforms bubble is proposed using liquid immersion double-sided telecentric microscope, which virtually eliminate the distortion caused by the preform cylindrical lens effect. The method enables the bubble detection at different depths.
