Proposal of Communication Infrastructure for Aquaculture 4.0 Based on LoRaWAN
The Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing various industries, including aquaculture, by enabling real-time monitoring and control through connected devices. This study proposes a LoRa and LoRaWAN-based network architecture for low-cost Aquaculture 4.0 applications, focusing on device implementation and performance evaluation in various scenarios. The results demonstrate the feasibility of LoRa technology in remote and resource-constrained environments, highlighting its efficient coverage, low energy consumption, and signal quality. This work contributes by showcasing the potential of LoRa and LoRaWAN to optimize monitoring and management in aquaculture systems.
