Designing a Community and City Government Application System

In the world of government, fast, accurate, and real-time information is needed to carry out duties and responsibilities in serving the community. In the industrial era 4.0, advances in information and communication technology can build people’s expectations, especially in improving the government’s quality in serving the community to make it more effective and efficient. Thus, this research aims to design an application system that connects society and government. The purpose of making this application is to make it easier for people to interact in real-time with the government and increase the government’s effectiveness in processing data or information and public complaints with a faster response. We used the descriptive qualitative method with the literature review on application systems and e-reporting to support this research. Based on the results, the design of an application connected to the community and city government can become an efficient and informative medium in meeting needs and facilitating community activities with the city government. This application has a different e-government application system, such as information presentation features, data entry, admin services, and public complaints. The impact of this e-government application will fulfill the people’s needs effectively and efficiently.
