Comparison of manufacturing methods for skin hydration textile sensor
This paper examines the manufacturing methods of capacitive textile sensors for skin hydration measurement. Skin hydration level is an important parameter for evaluating the healthy condition of the body’s skin; it is often used in dermatology and cosmetology. The development of textile sensors provides us with enhanced functionality for this measurement compared to standard methods. This research aims to test and compare feasible manufacturing methods for etextile production, with a special focus on the production of skin hydration sensors, including embroidering, direct printing, and lamination.
