The Development of Infaq Received Accounting Information System for Al Ajwa Al Islamy Salafiyah Boarding School

This study focuses on designing an accounting information system for managing infaq received (donations) at Al Ajwa Al Islamy Salafiyah Boarding School, located in Pasirhuni, Cimaung, Bandung, West Java. The boarding school faces challenges in managing its financial transactions, particularly its revenue, as it still relies on manual methods. This leads to inefficiencies in financial reporting. A web-based Accounting Information System is proposed to address this issue, utilizing the CodeIgniter framework. This research adopts survey, descriptive, and experimental methods to provide an overview of the current system and to develop a more effective solution. The system development adheres to the Spiral model, incorporating flowcharts and context diagrams in its design. The suggested system seeks to enhance daily financial record-keeping and provide monthly financial reports that adhere to established norms, consequently augmenting efficiency and accuracy in financial management at Al Ajwa Al Islamy Salafiyah Boarding School. The deployment of this system guarantees that each donation is precisely and traceably recorded, leading to more dependable financial reports that donors and stakeholders can verify.
