Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of PVDF thin film Separator for Supercapacitors
This study explores the integration of piezoelectric elements into flexible supercapacitors. The initial concept focuses on using a PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) membrane as a separator within the supercapacitor structure. This membrane possesses the necessary porosity to facilitate ion passage, electrical insulation, high flexibility, and a significant piezoelectric effect when deformed. The concept begins by integrating the piezoelectric PVDF separator between electrodes, serving as a proof of concept and demonstrating the viability of using the PVDF membrane within the supercapacitor.
