Adapting Agile Methodology in a Document-Intensive Project Management
Agile methodologies, designed for iterative and incremental development, have gained significant traction in software development. However, their application in documentintensive projects, characterized by stringent regulatory requirements and complex workflows, presents unique challenges. This research explores the potential of adapting Agile principles to such projects, examining the benefits, challenges, and strategies for successful implementation. By leveraging Agile’s flexibility and iterative approach, organizations can streamline document management processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver high-quality outcomes in even the most document-heavy environments. The result of this study was implemented in a system development project using a tailored agile framework, specifically Scrum wherein mandatory documents are considered sprint outcomes.
