Development of a Soil Quality Monitoring System for Soybean Cultivation Based on Internet of Things with Mamdani Fuzzy Logic Method
This study focuses on the design and implementation of a soil quality monitoring tool for soybean crops based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The primary objective of this research is to provide a solution for farmers to monitor soil conditions in real-time and efficiently. The tool utilizes soil moisture sensors, soil pH sensors, and temperature and humidity sensors (DHT11) to collect data. The collected data is then transmitted to the Arduino Cloud platform via an ESP32 microcontroller. Arduino Cloud serves as the data center and user interface, where farmers can access information about soil conditions online through smartphones or computers. Testing results demonstrate that the tool can provide accurate and realtime information regarding soil moisture, soil pH, as well as temperature and humidity around the soybean plants. Consequently, farmers can make informed decisions in land management and enhance soybean productivity.
