Testing the efficiency of some types of trees in treating sewage pollution

liquid waste posed by the residential and industrial areas that flow into the sewage directly without treatment, considered as a main sources of pollution of the waters of the Tigris that has been studying the efficiency of the orang, olive, pear plants as a primary treatment for these pollutants, where samples were collected from the left side of the city of Mosul, from stream of Yarimjah farm exactly , elements of zinc ,copper and cadmium and were measured in plant leaves tissues by. Results showed that olive trees It was significantly superior in its accumulation for Zinc, reaching so (167)mg/kg D.W. While orange trees accumulated more cadmium and copper, reaching (2.63) and (52) mg/kg, respectively, compared to their concentration in the leaves of olive and pear trees. It was also observed that there was a significant increase in the concentration of calcium, sodium, and potassium in the olive leavesز

It was also observed that there was a significant increase in the concentration of calcium, sodium, and potassium in the olive leavesز
