EXTENSÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA NA PROMOÇÃO DE ENSINO E SAÚDE EM CURSO DE SERVIÇO

This study aims to present university extension as a teaching and health promotion strategy in a Social Work course. The methodology includes qualitative and descriptive research and an account of the authors' experience. A field diary and simple participant observations were used between March and July 2023 at a university center in the capital of Ceará. The result was the participation of 218 students, who carried out actions that cut across Social Work in public and private institutions. In summary, we believe that university extension establishes the theoretical-practical relationship, strengthening teaching-learning from the moment students enter higher education.
