Development of Contextual Based Science Module
This research aims to develop a contextual-based science learning module that can improve students' understanding and skills. Science learning that is often considered abstract and irrelevant to students' daily lives is one of the challenges faced in education today. Therefore, contextual-based modules are expected to help students link the subject matter with real experiences, thus improving their motivation and learning outcomes. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results showed that the developed module can be used effectively in science learning and received positive responses from students and teachers. The use of this module is proven to improve students' understanding of science concepts and practical skills in applying science knowledge in everyday life. This research is expected to contribute to the development of science learning that is more contextual and relevant.
