Time‐Dependent Influence of Nanoparticulate Foliar Selenium on Wheat Photosynthesis and Selenium Biotransformation
Summary Statement Selenium nanoparticles (SeNP) promote wheat growth by reducing reactive oxygen species like superoxide and hydrogen peroxide while also enhancing photosynthetic efficiency. When applied to leaves, SeNP converts quickly to organic selenium species, demonstrating potential in alleviating abiotic stress in plants.
