PERBANDINGAN GOOGLE COLAB DAN GOOGLE SPREADSHEET DALAM MENYELESAIKAN PERSAMAAN NONLINEAR METODE BAGI DUA

Nonlinear equations frequently arise in various disciplines and require numerical methods for their solutions. One commonly used numerical method is the Bisection Method, which works by narrowing the search interval for the root. Although this method is relatively simple, its effectiveness can be enhanced through computational tools. However, few studies have specifically compared solving the Bisection Method manually, using Google Colab with Python, and using Microsoft Excel. This study aims to evaluate and compare these three approaches in terms of accuracy, computational efficiency, and ease of implementation. The research employs a quantitative comparative approach. The results indicate that Google Colab offers the best computational efficiency through automation, while Microsoft Excel provides a more intuitive solution for users unfamiliar with programming. Manual computation remains relevant for understanding the fundamental concepts of the method but is less efficient in practice. These findings are expected to assist students and researchers in selecting the appropriate tool for effectively solving nonlinear equations ABSTRAKPersamaan nonlinear sering muncul dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu dan memerlukan metode numerik untuk penyelesaiannya.
