In the context of intertwined economic conflicts, it is an important support to accelerate the formation of new quality productive forces and realize high-quality economic development by enhancing the uncertainty perception ability of firms to drive the enhancement of firm resilience. Using a sample of A-share listed firms from 2010-2021, this paper examines the impact and mechanism of management's perception of uncertainty in the business environment on firm resilience. We use textual analysis based on Python to measure the uncertainty perception of management and the findings show that management's perception of uncertainty in the business environment significantly enhances firm resilience. Management's perception of uncertainty will enhance firm resilience by slowing down long-term investments and increasing the utilization efficiency of assets with stronger liquidity, and enhancing the exploitative innovation of firms. Based on the proactive perception perspective, this study deepens the understanding of the relationship between management's perception of uncertainty in the business environment and firm resilience. It provides implications to effectively enhance the firm's ability to adapt and develop in the uncertainty environment.
