Multi-Project Scheduling Methods for Aerospace Component Identification

Scheduling of aerospace parts is extremely complex and therefore the traditional manual scheduling approach typically has low efficiency and high expense in addressing multi-parallel-processing-project scheduling issues. Two-layer scheduling approach on the basis of MAS is proposed in the paper, wherein some of the scheduling layers tend towards reducing each project's execution cost and completion time and whereby the global harmony layer predominantly reduces losses caused by multiple-project tardiness. The enhanced single-project timetable and resource allocation mechanism are incorporated in the strategy. By means of comparison founded on a self-established dataset, the proposed framework and optimization algorithm can greatly improve scheduling results and hence greatly assist assessment of aerospace parts.
